We are a solidarity hosting platform whose role is to put in contact with solidarity hosts any woman threatened or victim of violence. These are selected and validated by our partner organizations.
When you request hosting, one of our certified partners will select a host with whom you will be put in touch, after an interview between this partner and you, then between the host and our partner.

Can I get help with my administrative procedures from the place of accommodation?
The place of accommodation will not be able to help you in your steps, on the other hand, the association which will have put you in touch with the place, may be able to. Do not hesitate to ask them, they will be able to guide you.
How can I be accommodated?
Make your request for accommodation on our platform by providing your phone number. An association will contact you to offer you accommodation.
Is hosting free ?
Yes, hosting is free.
Do I have to present identity papers or other administrative documents ?
Yes, you will have to present your identity papers to the association which will contact you.
How long can I be hosted ?
It depends on each place and the charter that you will sign between the place of accommodation and you.

I do not feel well in the place where I am staying, what should I do ?
Immediately contact the association that referred you to this accommodation. They will interact
with you to understand the problems you are facing and the possible solutions.
What is in place to ensure my security in the accommodation ?
Hosts will be visited regularly to ensure good housing conditions for beneficiaries.
Questionnaires are requested from each person who has been accommodated to prevent any problem.
In the event of a problem, do not hesitate to contact the association that put you in touch with this accommodation, it will be able to intervene as soon as possible.
An emergency number is provided, do not hesitate to use it.

To do what ?
In France, emergency accommodation is saturated, it is estimated that 72,000 places are missing, however, some centers are not always fully occupied when many women could benefit from them ? We want to facilitate access and connection between hosts and beneficiaries.
Why specifically for women ?
It has now been proven that a woman living on the street presents a greater risk of assault than a man, in particular the risk of sexual assault.
A shelter for them is to offer them protection against these attacks.
Why in Bordeaux ?
Les Orchidées Rouges have been present in the Girondin area since 2017, we support women and girls who are survivors of female genital mutilation, and/or forced or early marriage.
We have noted the precarious situation in which some of our beneficiaries are.
Faced with the observation that the possibilities of emergency accommodation are insufficient, but also that many solidarity hosts are too often unknown to people in need, we have decided to act !
